I'm assuming this is an old British Penny. Can anyone tell me the condition & value.

It looks like it worth a dollar or two. It's a British Farthing.

It is??...it says Penny...but then I don't collect world coins!!!

I saw the exact same coin in a World Coin Price Guide I had and it was under the United Kingdom section. It said 1 Farthing? I don't collect world coins either.

right...the Farthing looks just like the penny BUT the penny has the word penny and the farthing has the word farthing on it.

It is a bronze bun head penny that will just about grade F but with all of the edge damage would be hard pushed to be worth more than the equivalent of $1 or so (not sure of the market for Engish coins in US). Hope this is of some use.
