I plan on selling off my coin collection but I'm sort of stumped on what I should do. Do you all think it’s better to sell all the coins in one big bundle or sell each coin/coin set separately? I could sell sets like my 68-83 proof sets or all my silver commemorative dollars together. To me it sound easier to sell them all in one big bundle but I'm not sure if someone wants my entire collection with the chances are that they may have some if not most of my coins. Some people have told me to just try selling the whole collection at once, only cost's 1.50 to list it on ebay. I also could list my coins if you guys maybe have some pointers
I depends on how large your collection is. I would probably break it up into a bunch of smaller lots. The only way I'd sell as one big lot would be with a coin dealer, but you won't get much for it. Try listing some things here on the open forum. Guy~
deppending on the size of your collection and on what kind of coins you have (i.e. World, U.S.,modern, ancients, silver) a good idea would probably be selling them in different lots by categories. And if you have a coin that is worth more than the others in its category (like a key date or a better grade) then maybe sell that separately. I wouldn't sell it to a coin shop because you wouldn't get as much money for your money. I would go with e-bay or Craigslist. JMO good luck
thats a good idea posting it here. I will probably this weekend and if I dont get any hits ill post them up on ebay
