Hello Looks like a Georgives I, but hard to tell. It is probaly not worth much seeing as it is almost not possible to identify the coin. Some one might come by and say some thing to the contrary though. It is still nice to have. You know its old and it looks neat. James Simmons
It looks very much like what is left of a cartwheel issue penny of 1797. The penny weighs 1 ounce and the twopence 2 oz. Because of this they were often used as unofficial 1 oz and 2 oz weights by traders after they ceased to be legal tender which is one reason why they are often found in such poor condition.
