In most cases the name of the country where a coin is from is mentioned on the coin ;-) franc, 1966 Probably France (though a few other countries have or had "franc" coins as well). forint, 1971,1975 Hungary. (The Hungarian word for Hungary is Magyar and should be somewhere on the coins.) pence 1982,1992 If you see Elizabeth II, and no country name, on the other side, it is from the United Kingdom ... nederlanden, 1965, 1963 That is the country name (Netherlands). groszy, 1990 Poland. filler, 1971 Hungary, I suppose (see above). pfennic,1960 If that is a 2 Pfennig coin, it is from (West) Germany. If not, it's from the GDR (East G.). australia, 1976 Umm ... Australia maybe? one big penny from 1939 UK, I think. Does it say GEORGIVS VI anywhere? Christian
yes the big penny does say georgivs, thanks, i had no clue with them, i was really stuck on that australia one,(lol) now i know were to look on ebay, thanks
