ugh UGH they loooove buildings don't they? 9 is the only non-building one... and I don't think it would translate very well to metal... 8... that flag looks like a child's drawing, yet "image courtesy of the U.S. mint" 6 could work if they changed the font by giving it some serifs or something... 1 has way too much detail to translate to a coin of the lincoln cent's size. I do not like any of these... what happened to the eagle in the last round? That one was actually pretty nice!
I don't like any of them. If I had to pick...I would say #1 but none are that great. Let's go back to the wheat back for 50 years or so.
I don't get it The article says: But then it goes on to give pix of 8 Capitol buildings and one flag? What about the other flag, or shield, or eagle, or wheat stalk designs? What about her favorite design? She saw it, and it's her favorite, but doesn't share it with us? What am I missing here? PS -- look at the close up of #3, #6, or #7 . . . can you imagine boasts of "full steps" on those? ("All 100 steps have to show...")
I have yet to see a single site that gives all the designs yet. Thus far, the best one IMHO was the shield design...but I can't seem to find it.
