1965 Quarter DDO???

    Any help with this is appreciated. Still new to all of this and would like to get opinions on what looked like doubling to me. Hopefully it can be made out in the picture. Very new to taking pics of coins!!! Thanks!

    Neat-o!

    I believe that's "machine doubling" or "mechanical doubling."

    This offers no real premium over face value. I still think it's cool.

    Yes, I think it is MD. I think the serifs would have to be doubled as well:whistle:

    I thought it to most likely be machine doubling. However what looked odd to me was the north side of the W. I could not figure out how the circular shapes above the two upward ends of the W, could be made by machine doubling. If anyone can help with that... again Thanks!

    The 'North side of the W' part is just an extreme scrape from the mechanical/machine/strike doubling.

    Most likely die deterioration doubling the second images are rounded not flat i find alot of DDD on quarters.
