Doesn't provide the pictures of the reverse's and doesn't accept returns already sold one set for $43 has two more i don't like the looks of them and definitely will not buy from this seller
Actually, that's both sides of a 2-headed coin. You can buy them for $9.95 here. Minted by (or for) the Cook Islands apparently. 71 mg (not g) of silver. Caveat Emptor.
Someone took the bait then should I report this seller?he/she is claiming they are the 100 anniversary 1,oz silver ones.
If that's the case, sure. The only listing I see on eBay clearly states they are Cook Island double liberty coins.
The Cook Islands are one of several micro-nations that partner with private mints to produce non-circulating legal tender issues for sale to the "collector" market. https://getdoublelibertydollars.com/
Cook Islands isn't a Micro-Nation they are an actual country (Standard Catalog describes it as a "self governing dependency of New Zealand"), and at one time at least did have their own circulating coinage. Don't know if they still do. Did as recently as 2003, and at least they no longer use the the central device they use to use for the reverse. (A fertility god that left no doubt as to the fertility. Sorry no images, family friendly you know.)
