Hi everyone, Got this one at my local pawn shop pick it up for 50 cents, what would you grade this at? And do you think I over paid for this coin? Learning as I go, with great help I'm getting from CoinTalk. Also opinon on how my picture taken is going? better or worse then before?:goofer:

    It's nice, probably a 65 rd.

As clean as that coin looks, that has got to be a 66 or even a 67.

Looks like a nice clean gem !

Get your loupe out and check those 4's in the date. A common variety is the double die......the farthest left edge of the 4's will have both a pointy end and a squared off end, it is pretty obvious in hand with some looking. Not valuable, but just neat to know.

    I'd say 65RD...maybe even 66. Very nice!

I'm with rlm. My first impression was 67, but if pressed, I would have to say 66.

    I'd pay .50 cents.

I'd pay .50 cents. I would not go above MS-65 until I could turn the coin and look at it in person though.
