I'm new to world coins just because my American collection was just so consuming I never looked at another countries coins, But I found this web site that everybody might have heard of but it lists about 30 different countries coins.www.eurocollections.com they are located out of California and Australia. Here is a coin I'm going to order from them. This is the 2009 Russian bullion coin. 1oz silver.

One of the coolest looking coins I have seen...I love the styling and middle ages feel.

I read on the site there is a gold version too for the high rollers.

    Tempting....

Almost every world silver coin minted.

I just wanted to let you know when you go on this site
www.eurocollections.com go to the search mode and put in silver coins and you will get silver coins in proof and uncirculated condition from around the world. Good luck.Randy
P.S. I have nothing to do with this site.I was just happy to find a site that has everything together.

Very nice looking coin. Interesting that they show the Ag content and size on the coin (I'm assuming the 31,1 is 31.1 mm). I haven't been around world coins long enough to know if that is unusual, but I have not seen it before. What is the mark just above and to the right of the 31,1?

    Good web site. Thanks.

I know the 31.1 is grams and of course the ag.999 is silver content. the size of the coin is 39mm. I blew the picture up and what I can make out of it is, I think it's the artists signature. I have seen that 31.1 on some of Panama's older silver coins.

did you have a good experiance with them and how are the coins. The bullion coins are on target with prices everywhere. Thanks randy.
Love to see your coins, i've never heard of tintin asterix coins, are these real coins? The name just sounds unusual. I am new to world coins so nothing malicious about asking about your coins.randy

Need some information on some world websites

Hi, I've found that www.eurocollections.com site that seems to be a reputable site. But can you guy's and gal's post some other sites or mints besides the Canadian mint or Austrian mint that have a reputable site for buying newer silver, silver bullion and gold coins or specialty coins. It doesn't have to be a mint it can be a website offering these products and normal prices (not $60) for a silver maple leaf, I really appreciate your help. Randy B

It is the mint mark of Saint Petersburg Mint (СПМД)

The same picture of George the Victorious is used on current 1, 5, 10 and 50 kopeck coins too:

Euro Collections used to be a company located in BC, Canada. Later they were taken over by Downies (Australia based) and have since then been in California. Another option, if you want to buy what in the US would be "world" coins, is the Royal Scandinavian Mint http://rsmint.com/ in Utah. The company is neither royal nor Scandinavian nor a mint :) but they have a wide selection too.

I made a post a few weeks ago to see if anyone knew a source for this coin. No response. Gave up.

    Thanks, I just ordered it.

Has anyone used Royal Scandinavian Mint? If so what was the experience like? I was looking for a US dealer that sells a particular French coin and they seem to be the only one, so far, that is carrying the coin. I have used Euro Collections and Downies. I've had good experiences with both. However they don't currently have the coin I want so I wanted to see what others may have experience shopping with RSM.

    Thanks!!!
