Brag about a coin, but this is an absolute screamer to die for. It was purchased recently and planned as a flipper, but it goes straight to the SDB for my set.

A true primo 1915 in a PCGS 65 BR holder. I just cant get a good enough pic ( Todd @ BlueCC wil soon ) to show the beauty, but look anyways. Surfaces, strike, color, it's all there and then some. I am soooooooooooooooooo jazzed today. This coin has some of the most beautiful pastel toning I have ever seen, I cannot wait to see Todds pics of it.

Proper credit is due, the coin came from Dave on the PCGS boards, CohodK. We go way back, he knows what I like and does not disappoint as you can see.

A really great coin, Jack. You can see some of the toning in the reflected patches of light in your photos. It's a keeper for sure.

    Thanks folks....
Once in a blue moon a coin comes along that you just cannot sell, this is one of them. So I yanked a sweet one for my set, prolly cannot afford it cashflow wise, but exceptions are to be made when the right one comes along.

Have you ever seen that " 4 hour " warning commercial? LOL, this is a 4 hour Lincoln, the more I look at it, the more I have to put it in the safe and stop looking;)

Spock, You are well on your way as an understudy in copper. After I learn everything from Rick and Charmy, I will enroll you in the advanced class of :

" Pay as you learn "

It is a new concept in numismatics, we will rip them before they can rip themselves. Similar to my " pay as you learn poker" classes, we will become fatcats in the circle and star in our own Heritage catologe.

Spock and AJ, a team that cannot be beat.

    It's kinda funny.

As a jaded collector, " dealer " and all, just the rush of such a nice coin really set me off in a way I have not felt in years. Like one of you folks when that " right " nickel comes along, or the dollar of the year, that elusive full step jeff, the crown, or the Loony.

Pardon me folks, I am jazzed as a collector more so than I have been in 2 years. Serious.

I just wish I could share the beauty, my pics suck....this one will require a pro to capture.

Great coin, great coin - I'd keep it to!

Great coin, great coin - I'd keep it to! This coin in same grade Red is worth a fortune, it's a tough one maybe one of the toughest "P" mint Lincoln's.

For those new folks the "full beard" was a common designation in the old days - you just won't see full beards much after the teens on Lincoln's until modern times.

And now I know where they came up with the term "penny from heaven". Nice coin!
