I have seen this for auction, I know there are forgeries of these coins so I want to make sure before I enter a bid. Would you bid for this ??

It looks suspicious to me personally; if I was in your position @offa the saxon, I'd pass on it.

The wear on the second star from the left leads me to believe it was made with fake dies. Looks like unnatural wear.

 

The weird rims and lettering tell me it's a fake. Pass

It looks like a replica. The rims are too perfect and the orientation of the stars and dots is off.
