Another Many of these you are posting are worth more than I though they would be....but I also LOVE the history with them as well...
What about these? Anyone know what these are? I have a whole string of them. They are blank on the back, almost as if they are stamps (they are small when compared to most bills). All from 1922. Thanks.
Not at all, but this site is a halfway decent reference if you have some idea of what you're looking at... www.atsnotes.com
that is a cool site. i have used it alot in the past for various notes. almost always has nice scans of the notes! definately a nice place to visit just to browse
It looks like the 1922 stamp looking things are 25 rubles. I have a string of about 15 or more attached together and another one of 3 attached together. That is cool that they are currency. Any thought on some of the other notes? And would you be up for more?
The 10 rubles note is fron the Seberian Provsional Administration (First). It's a Treasury Token Currency Issue S #818 price VG .25, VF 1.25, Unc 3.50. Lou
And I have probably 10 bills looking similar to these, many slightly different (different years perhaps). But it is all in Chinese, and I don't know how to look it up anywhere....
The horesman is Japanese you can allways tell them by the Chrysanthanum top center Will have a look in the specialist catalouge for the Russian.

Another Still seeing if someone can help with the Japaneese one, the dragon one, and still trying to verify if the stamp like one is actually a 1922 25 rubles or not (I've been looking all over the Internet). Here is another one from my Dad's collection that he got from a friend...
The realy annoying thing is that I know I should know what that one with the dragons on is, as I know I have seen it before :headbang:
I have run through my Pick catalog (both Volume I and II) several times on the Dragon note and still come up empty.
