Off the top of my head I know there are not many varieties in 1828 just two, three at the most. The Coinfacts website could tell you how many but probably won't have the pictures up any longer (more and more of their pictures are disappearing.)
There are 3 varieties of 1828, none of which are rare in low grades. C2, the 12-starred variety, can command a small premium over the other two when circulated because it's a redbook variety and kind of neat as a mint-made die blunder.
