Well, the description of the product is that it's made with Mylar. Does it feel greasy?

I personally think that Mylar sometimes looks greasy although it is not & is considered safe.

nothing is made from Mylar anymore. the product is no longer made by Dupont. Hopwever, there are products made from the same type of material as Mylar, which is PET or 'Polyethylene terephthalate' if the seller calls it Mylar, they are either mistaken or misleading.

if your interested, visit the last link in my signature ... it goes into great detail about all the different materials and alot of different products.

From what i know of supersafe, they use Polyethylene terephthalate and not Mylar. I dont think the company sells its products as being Mylar, i think the online sellers who sell the products bill it is being mylar. If they holders look 'oily' in side, it might be condensation as i dont think anyone coats the holders with oil as it would certainly harm the notes.

Well, that's the description for that stuff on lots of supply companies sites. Mylar may be used as a generic term.
