I'm not really sure from the pics but it could be:

VAMworld - 1885-O VAM-15 (But this would need the die gouge in the lower right wing)

VAMworld - 1885-O VAM-25A (I can see the die break between the R I, but not sure from the pics if there's the break on the cap. This would also need a slight dash under the 8)

Your coin cannot have 2 VAMs. A VAM is created by a specific set of dies (obverse and reverse) that are paired together. Coins struck from those dies have whatever characteristics are present on the dies. One pair of dies create one VAM and another set of dies create another VAM.

    Hope that makes sense.

+1 -- it is either one or the other.

That where I checked before posting the pictures
that why I think it has 2 vams 1 on obv & 1 on rev
    I also checked them here

As stated previously the morgan can only have one vam:) As for how to list it, just list the "one" vam it has. As far as i can tell the coin is in really rough shape so I honestly dont think the vam is going to ad any real value to the coin. I have several toned morgans with vams not listed on the holders but I usually just make a small blurb about them in a listing.

This coin was handed down to me by my father

The coin is MS 60 -62 It has been owned by my family for 80+ years. A 1879-1892-O the 85-O Morgan dollar has with different 48 obv die hubs + 35 rev die hubs so 2 Vam can happen.
New Orleans mint is known the have most 2-3 vam coins. read Q David Bower update Morgan Dollars update# 3
TPG just note the greater valued Vam when grading Morgan's

VAM is a variety cataloging system for Morgan and Peace Dollars. Although it is possible for a coin to exhibit multiple variety traits on its obverse and reverse; this die marriage will be recognized and cataloged by a single VAM identification number. Any coin attributed to that particular VAM must exhibit all the listed variety traits of that die marriage. Any coin that exhibits additional or less variety characteristics – is – a different VAM.

Well that is my understanding – but I am not a VAM collector.

Really? So, what your saying is...if you find a VAM and want it mentioned on the slab you have to pay double. If that's true, that's crazy.

Only if coin Has 2 Vam's

Only if the coin has 1 on obv & 1 rev they want you to pay for 2 detail fee' if you want them both noted in the coins details
