help identifying an odd error penny

    I hound this 1999 D penny about a year ago. I think this might have been stuck in some kind of machine. The front has small diamond depressions in in the back has two penny prints on it. Please tell me what you think.

    I think that machine was a vise and it was squeezed against another coin.

    Yep. I agree. It's a squeeze job (aka, vice job). Another cent was pressed into your coin. It is nothing more than post-mint damage. No collector value at all. I would spend it.
