I checked my US Mint account and I found out they claimed to have sent out 1 Proof and 1 Unc ASE on 2/16/09. Called and they finally told me that because my orders were subscriptions they really did not ship them out because of "coin blanks shortages". In February? I told them that I've had these subscriptions for years and I always expected them each year, regardless.

They couldn't explain why it showed that they were shipped when they weren't. Now I've got to go back and see if they've charged my Credit Card.

I was instructed to call back tomorrow and find out more info before 5pm Eastern time.

I was also told that I had to order each coin to initiate the subscriptions. :rolling: I told the Rep that the signing up for a coin each year IS putting in an order.
Does anyone know if the Mint has resumed making and sending the ASE's, Proof & UNC?

For me, They had always been quite fair and easy to get products from. Until now. I hope this isn't an omen of thing to come (or not come).

I checked my account yesterday - nothing was marked as shipped. I would like to get them.

That's a really curious occurrence Bruce. Nothing like that has happened on my end.

:mad:Ok try this: For anyone who has had their account charged, or payment has been received and products are 45 days past due, please write a detailed letter to : Michael White: U.S. Mint 801 9th street N.W. Washington D.C.. *** Mark your envelope** Urgent/Customer Assistance Required. If you simply have complaints about other Mint Issues, write, but mark your envelope: Complaint/Mint Product issues.

Lets see if we can shake something up.

Interesting idea. I'm suspect that any mail marked "URGENT" to a government building in DC will only go for "additional pre-screening" and inspection before being released so that might actually be counter productive.

I suspect that a normal nondescript envelope would get delivered more quickly but who knows. Give it a shot.

For those who have phone service, Michael's phone number is also available on the USmint.gov website.
