Wheat design may appear on the 2010 cent

    A new version of the famous Wheat cent may be on the horizon. That's what three members of the Commission of Fine Arts suggested April 16 when they reviewed 18 proposed designs for the reverse of the Lincoln cent starting in 2010.

    I like those better than the two "Flag" ideas I saw... JMO

    I would like a wheat like reverse on the 2010 cent...but I don't really care for either of those.

    As I stated in the earlier Post, I'd like to see the "shield" reverse LP-13 selected.

    I think the shield had a very classic feel to it and would be nice on the coin. I could like with that.

    YES!!! That's what I want to see. Lets bring back the original wheat back!

    I like that one also. Maybe they could make the shield a bit smaller and put the wheat ears around it. ;)

    take a look at a 1788 New Jersey Copper "Running Fox"
