    Hey everyone! :)

I recently acquired this beautiful 1907 Barber Dime. Although its been cleaned and has quite a few scratches, it still has really nice details. All grades and comments are welcome! :D

I would say this coin has AU details but as you said has been harshly cleaned. I think the cleaning makes it ungradable...but I feel that it does have the details and wear of an AU coin.

Definitely an AU specimen. It is too bad about the cleaning, but a lot of barbers got that treatment in the past. Problem free specimen can be a bear to come by.

Yeah, definitely cleaned. It looks like there may still be some luster in the lettering? Nice strong details!

Well, the reverse shows much more luster than the obverse, since it wasn't cleaned as harshly ;) I got this for only $40, so I'm a happy buyer :D

Yep - Darn shame about the harsh cleaning. This coin had some nice details.

$40 wasn't totally out of order IMO...not a smashing deal, but not a rip-off either. It looks 'cleaned', but I can't tell if its harsh or not from the photos. Probably AU-58 details.
