***RULES UPDATE*** We're now down to nine states. And obviously you can't make adjustments to ten total anymore. So... When 8 and 9 states remain, take (-3) to four states and (-1) to four states. When 6 and 7 states remain, take (-3) to three states and (-1) to three states. ***When we get down to five states, pause. We'll adjust the rules again***

One more, new rules after five. I think it should look like this now: Alaska 44 Arizona 21 Nevada 2 North Dakota 31 South Dakota 37 Washington 3
***NEW RULES AT 5 STATES. THESE RULES KICK IN WHEN THE NEXT STATE FALLS*** Okay, I don't want to do the final round with a single person casting the final vote...that wouldn't be any fun. So the final round rules are just a tiny bit more complicated. Here they are: Voting is no longer open. The only people that can vote in the final round are people that have already played the game. There are two different groups for the following round, and your group is determined by how many times you have played. ***People who have played over five times have 10 points to redistribute in any way they see fit*** You can take 10 points from Nevada and give them all to Alaska. You can take 3 from Nevada, 3 from South Dakota, and 4 from Alaska and give all 10 to North Dakota. Any combo you want, as long as you're subtracting ten total and adding ten total. The 10 point players are as follows: -FentonForche -Hontonai -Jim M -Louie Two Bits -Green 18 -Tater Those who have played between one and four rounds get 5 points to redistribute in the final round. Same rules apply, distribute any way you like. You can take 2 from Alaska, 2 form South Dakota, and 1 from North Dakota, and give 3 to Nevada and 2 to Washington. Just make sure you subtract 5 and add 5. The 5 point players are as follows: -Copper Coins -Commidaddy -Camaro DMD -Conder 101 -Spock1k -bhp3rd -sonjudawg -Coin Keeper -Jeff D2 -ejedi -IntlCoinoisseur -the_man12 -BlueAngel -Phil Ham -Canadian Charles -rlm's cents -vipergts -halcyon -sodaant -coinbuff ***A few final notes*** 1. STATES CAN NOW GO NEGATIVE. If Washington is sitting at +2, and somebody uses -5 against them, they go to -3. If Washington is at -3 when it's your turn, and you use 4 points, it goes back to positive 1. Thus, there aren't any more "eliminations" 2. YOU ONLY HAVE ONE MORE TERM. Not one turn daily, just one more turn to distribute the points you've been allocated. 3. THE GAME ENDS at 10:00 PM PACIFIC TIME TOMORROW (TUESDAY) NIGHT. It would take too long to wait for everybody on the lists to take their final turn. The final scores will determine the order of the top five. ***LAST POINT, very important*** Since the scoring is now more complicated, it's going to be a lot easier to go off track. So when you start your turn, type a message at the bottom that just says "EDITING" and submit it quickly. Then go back and edit that post with your changes. If you see a post at the bottom that says "EDITING" and you know somebody else is taking their turn, wait til they're done. But if it has been a long time and the "EDITING" is still there, go ahead and go. ********************** GOOD LUCK ALL! AND THANKS FOR PLAYING THE GREAT STATE QUARTERS FACE OFF **********************
Alaska 46 (+5) Arizona 23 (+5) North Dakota 26 (-2) South Dakota 33 (-3) Washington -3 (-5) It is tough gang, these are my 4 favorite quarters. Washing is nice but don't hold a candle to the others. Have fun, this is my last vote.
Alaska 56 (+10) Arizona 23 North Dakota 24 (-2) South Dakota 25 (-8) Washington -3 Guess I'm done too. It's been fun.
Alaska 61(+5) Arizona 20(-3) North Dakota 17(-7) South Dakota 30(+5) Washington -3 My final say......
Sorry guys, I didn't take heed to Fenton's EDITING rule...and was victim of an overlapping post...here is the update... Alaska 51 (-10) Arizona 20 North Dakota 17 South Dakota 40 (+10) Washington -3 Thanks for the game Fenton; very creative...it's been a blast! -LTB
Alaska 41 (-10) Arizona 20 North Dakota 27 (+10) South Dakota 40 Washington -3 I just really like the twin buffalo for some reason. And ND deserves props for taking a pretty dull state and coming up with an incredibly nice design. They had such little material to work with.
