Does any 1 know how the 2003 nickel 2 roll sets are doin??? Are they selling at a good premium or what? I know they r the last year, but will it take awhile for that to take effect on their value?

    Spider, they're worth about $4.00 ($2.00 per roll x 2)...

It's funny, those eBay auctions are over priced! Uncirculated rolls of the 2003 P&D Nickels trend for $3.50 in the price guide in Coins Magazine!

No disrespect intended - but I wouldn't put a lot of faith in the prices listed in COINS.

None taken. Also the same prices listed in Coinage Magazine along with Coin Prices Magazine.

Sorry Spidey, I thought you were talking about bank rolls... Yeah, the Mint Rolls are kinda pricey. Too rich for my blood since I just don't think the value is there...

Am I confused here? I didn't realize the mint made any 2003 nickels available in rolls.

I actually bought a 2 roll set of the '03' nickels thinking I was ordering the '04' nickels instead. I was kinda peeved at myself when I got them in the mail, but I kept them for posterity. I did open the box so they aren't sealed, but they are still in rolls. Ya think I should list them or keep them?!?!

thanks GD. But now I have another question. Is it better to keep them sealed??? I opened 1 but i still have 3 sealed. Does it really matter?

Depends what ya mean by sealed. If you mean you opened the box - no harm done. If you mean you opened the roll - all ya got now is $2 worth of nickels.
