the chest on the eagle ( and erm, libertys chest ) looks like they have pretty good strikes, something hard to find in the texas commem!

is it graded? if so my guess MS-64 or 65

Super super nice. Good buy on it as well. Had you bought from that dealer before?

Had not bought from this dealer before. I snagged it off ebay. I keep an eye out for these old holders. A good many of them are upgrade candidates.

It is truly spectacular. The luster is absolutely great. Fromwhat I have see, most of these old 65 holders were as good as it got and some come back as 66 or 67 now. It has a few dark spots on it so It is of to NCS for conservation and regrading. I was going to send it to PCGS for reholder since it is in a rattler holder but for $15 to have it conserved as well to remove the couple of spots I thought it best to go with NCS.

Really ?? I'd leave that puppy just as it is. But that's just my taste.

Yeah. I was kinda hesitant at first but I dont know what the spots are and the sound of the coin banging around in the holder bothers me as well. I would just feel better about storing the coin with the spots removed and in a more stable holder.

Has NCS ever told what they do to coins??...I would want to know that before I ever sent one to them....
