2 Interesting Barbers

I know these have probably been done post mint, but has anyone ever seen the circling around the ears before. I found them both to be pretty interesting.

I agree. I have seen old style dime holders that used a screw down piece to keep the coins stacked in the holder. The coins I have seen that were on top (with the screw) had a mark similar to that...so that could be the source of the mark.

I've seen those and cried over them more times than I can count.

 

I remember the thread but it was not mine. I can't remember whose thread that was. Should be easy enough to find though.
