Last one, I promise... 1936-D Lincoln Cent, I'm looking for grade opinions on this coin... Not sure if it's clear in the pics, but this coin is red. Do you think it would body bag if I sent it in to be slabbed? http://www.bidviews.com/krookedhouse/Coins/1936-D%20Lincoln%20Cent/obv.jpg http://www.bidviews.com/krookedhouse/Coins/1936-D%20Lincoln%20Cent/rev.jpg
If that coin is red, you color is so far off I could not begin to tell it whether or not it would slab. It absolutely looks brown in your pix. As for a grade, I would guess 66. I don't know whether or not that puts it in your criteria to slab, but you had better find a place to do it cheaply.
This is the only coin that I think might bet worth of sending to a TPG, but honestly, I would probably just keep it raw. If you are dead set on submitting something, at least bring it to an expert (your local B&M) to have them assess the coin. Nice coin, BTW, 65 BN ish to my eye, but the color is confusing me....Mike
Yes, the color is off... sorry about that. In my lighting setup I was more concerned about details (for grading) then I was about color. I'll try to take a better color pic and post it here. Thanks for the opinions, guys!
