this one is making me mad....1960 Large date.

I swear to god, this one is going to put me over the edge. I need to send it to someone I think. To me it appears that there is a backwards "D" in the bottom of the 9. I now it sounds weird, but it shows part of the supposed "D" in the 9. just the loop is showing. If I hav eto , I will send it to one of you experts, because it looks real to me. The pics suck, because it hard to hold my 10x loupe over my lens after I have had a couple beers. I found this yesterday and wanted to get a good pic.:headbang:

Umm..perhaps if you had a few more beers, the "D" would turn around, you'd see a belly dancer, or maybe Abe would even recite something for you.. Sorry..no disrespect..couldn't resist.

It's in an unusual place, but it looks similar to what the misplaced MM looks like on the1960d DDO/RPM Sm/Lg

It does look like a "D" also below that and a little right looks like a "6"........?

 

If I were you I would send it to coppercoins. It's only $5 I think and if it is a new variety you would be listed as the finder!
