    Another 1880-S Morgan Dollar

I'm looking for grade opinions on this coin...

It's hard to tell from the pics, but I think this is a DMPL (or was at one point). You can still see the mirror surfaces and the cameo like features, but it's either seen some wear or is dirty.

Do you think it would body bag if I sent it in to be slabbed?

First......I don't see any DMPL or even PL. Go look on ebay at some DMPL's.
Second..This coin is only About Uncirculated. Way too much wear on the breast of the eagle.

I wouldn't sent it to get graded!! I would takt the money and buy a nice morgan already slabbed. If thats what you want.

What makes you think your coins are 1880-S? Both you posted were 1890-S...

I think that coin would slab, but it isn't worth it to do so. The coin looks below MS grade, and an 1890-S coin in this grade is worth less than the amount of money it would cost to get it graded. My advice: Enjoy that beautiful coin raw as it is today. Respectfully...Mike
