À 1923 Peace Dollar with a die break on Liberty's jaw. Considered BU-60 but it's not graded. The jaw break is considered by some to be rare.

Thanks. I'm not into varieties but this one struck me as neat so I bought it.

I was going to say it looks like a fish too. A small bass, more particularly. Anyway, what is that? It looks like excess metal.

Perhaps a yellow perch with a retracted dorsal fin...

Whatever, it’s a nice catch. I wonder what kind of bait he used.

You all are hilarious. I'm laughing my head off. It's a small salmon swimming upstream to spawn but I caught him with a lure called a buzz bomb. Lol

Me too! In fact, I love fish and seafood in general. Salmon is best though! :)

Nice! Most recent sale is last November at GC. $198 (juice included) for a PCGS 63 CAC.

I have one of those too except the die crack on mine shows in the middle of the jaw. I wonder if we both have a progression of the same due crack?

That's VAM 1D ("Whisker Cheek"). Totally different die, but also desirable like the VAM 1A. PCGS 58 CAC sold for $150 in December.
