1"8"28 peace dollar

    I recently purchased a very nice 1928-s peace dollar which shows an 8 instead of a 9 for the second digit of the date(reads 1828 very clearly)This is a very nice coin that will grade at least AU.Is this a rare error or a fake?How much would it be worth?Thanks in advance,Steve
