I think the coin is AU. Nice strike with a nice amount of detail particularly with the stretch marks on the coin. Just a guess, the back is a very weak strike?

I find it hard to disagree with such a knowledgable Lincoln expert as you, but it looks BU to me.

AU? Really? I'll get to the reverse after I've heard more people chime in.

I first want the coin judged on the obverse, for this year, the details and strike are exquisite.

I say 65 can't tell if it is red or red/brown.

I'd guess 64+ RD/RB from the obverse, it has a nice strike and very good detail. If the reverse is just as good I'd say 65-66, but I think my wife is now the Lincoln expert

Hard to tell, but is there any doubling on the obverse?

Very impressive coin. I see no wear.

EDIT: I had to look again. WOW, exceptional coin.

Wow! If it werent for the slight nick on the field and a few scattered nicks on the edge...the portrait is near flawless...I'd say ms66?

Lemme guess, the reverse is heavily scratched or defaced with initials or something?

I say a very nice example of a 65RD that scratch keeps it from a 66 nice man! Very very nice details for a 21!

  15. beautiful! definitely MS... I would think RB though, not quite RD

Excellent coin-65 and possible 66 if market graded considering this year is such a notoriously weak strike coin.

OK show me the reverse I need to see the whole coin. The obverse looks great stong strike great color. I like it does it look even better in hand? Ice

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

I think the coin has great details, but I am sorry to say the coin's surfaces look very unnatural to my eye...Mike

Leadfoot has it right, the surfaces have been tampered with IMO. The color is just not right, at first I thought it was whizzed....but I don't see any indication of that. Appears that over the years there's been attempts to chemically remove the carbon spots on the reverse.
