Sacagawea question

    I hope that someone here can help me. My son brought home a Sacagawea dollar (2000-D) that does not have the word "Liberty" above her head. Is this a rare coin or were there several made like this? If it is rare, does anyone know an approximate value? Thanks.

    Howdy Captaind41 - Welcome to the Forum !!

    It's possible it could be a filled die error - but I've never seen or heard of one where every letter of Liberty was missing. It could also be an altered coin. So as suggested - please post pics if you can.
