Opinions on this 1935 Lincoln Cent (Toned)...

    Well it has very nice details, but looks like it got heated at some point. Not really sure.

    Doesn't look natural to me. To have the toning be so concentrated on the raised portion of the obverse with nothing in the fields seems odd.

    It looks to me like it has been improperly stores (against something?). I would give it a 64 RB.

    I agree with others. Toning looks odd. I had a coin I left in Canphor vasoline that turned out just like that. The other stuff in the petrolem (additives) did it I think. Have torched coin just to learn and they looked like that too early in the process. Maybe it sat on top of an appliance (refrigerator) and heated up unevenly?

    I once bought a few rolls of cents that were in a fire and they looked similar to that.

    If the reverse wasnt toned I would say end of roll toning, I think its NT. I like it!
