    Exactly right. :thumb: Good ol' "Laser" Lehigh has zeroed in on the issue ! ;)

    You'll see this elsewhere as well. For example, 1921 S$1s will say "Morgan" or "Peace". This is common practice anytime there are two different designs in the same year.

    FWIW - the 1907 Saint is a slightly better date. It is fairly low mintage (~370,000), plus it's in demand as "first year of type". It has more collector premium than common dates; definitely NOT a simple bullion coin.

    Mega-common dates are 1908 No Motto, 1924, 1927, 1928. In grades 64 and below, they track bullion fairly well.

    One other thing to consider...

    There is a BIG difference between the OP's 1907 Saint and the High Relief 1907 Saints ! Don't confuse that. The OP is a low relief, business strike.
