Hi again, I'm not too sure about the coin and I don't have a book with a pic of it but i posted your pics of it in a German coin forum so if there'll be any news I'm gonna post them here... so long...
Okay, German coin guys are really fast, so here is what I found out (In addition to what has been posted before): 1. Its a Saxon coin called "Dreier" (3 Pfennigs) and was coined in this shape from 1733 to 1763. 2. The coin is made from Billon, i.e. it consist of (much) less than 50 per cent silver, the rest is copper. 3. Its worth: Let me say, if you want to buy one at ebay here in Germany you'll have to give 10, maybe 15 Euros, not more. You see although it's quite old, it was kind of common and even today its not too rare. But nevertheless, it's a really nice coin, worth collecting...
