After my Dad passed away I found this medal in some of his stuff. I've looked on the internet but I can't find it. I was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it?

Sorry.....I googled the heck out of it, and came up empty.
Did he ever work for that company?

Me too, it's a tricky one. I saw a question on Yahoo about it, but it didn't have any answers, so there's at least one other one out there lol. Sorry couldn't help.

He owned the company. They make Kool's cigarettes and reynolds wrap among other things.

No, he never worked for them. I was just wondering where he might have gotten it, thought maybe someone had seen one before. It's really nice and has lots of detail. I found where R.J Reynolds had a large celebration on their centennial and had given out several different Medals and contributions to various individuals and institutions but none of the one's pictured looked like that one.
It was in with the hoard of coins, medals and tokens my dad left me.
    Thanks
