So here it is. This is the one that I referenced in a previous thread.

I kept trying to get a quality photo with my little Canon point and shoot--it took several days for it to dawn on me that I bought an Epson WorkForce 500 for Christmas and should try scanning it instead :).

    Without further adieu:

Hard to tell with scans, but it has an excellent strike. I would say MS63.

What's going on with the reverse rim at 3 o'clock?

Sorry, this was the best I could do--scanned at 1200 dpi, which is the max scanner setting. And resized to the maximum allowable KB. Is there something else I should do to provide better images?

There are two marks on the outside rim that I can only describe as little dents, one at 3 o'clock and one at 12. You can only notice them from the back. Not sure how much of a downgrade that warrants.

It was only $20. I'm pretty excited by this purchase. I actually bought 5 more morgans for an average purchase price of $16.50, but none look as nice as this one (I haven't received them in the mail yet).

Take a picture instead of scanning it. Set the camera to macro, then have it in the light so the luster can be seen.

I tried that--my digital is just too old and the lens can't escape haziness at short distances even with the macro setting on.

I may try to talk the better half into a Nikon D90 DSLR, but that's probably a couple of months off at minimum. Til then I'm stuck with the scanner.

Then don't go so close. Just crop it and blow up the image when you upload the picture.
