    Hi,
I just picked up a 1947-s Phillipines 1 peso coin in au. The coin has lots of luster but definite wear on the high points. Douglas McArthur on the obverse and a shield of some sort on the reverse. I believe it is silver, about the size, maybe a tad smaller, than a silver dollar. Any ideas of silver content and value? I will try to post a pic later but my computer has been giving me fits....I am on a computer at work at the moment.
    Thanks in advance,
    George

KM#185. It is 90% silver and has .5787 ASW. It was minted in San Fransisco with a mintage of 100,000. My Krause says $12 in XF, but I would guess more like $17-$20.
