This is nuts. There is no way this is worth that much money. If somone buys this im going to lose all faith in humanity http://cgi.ebay.com/AMERICAS-FIRST-....m14&_trkparms=66:4|65:16|39:1|240:1309:yawn:
It's an attention getter. It draws people to his other auctions where he might sell something that otherwise would have gone unnoticed.
that would be really funny. I wonder if he would tell us where he banks. Might be worth going to jail for twenty years
Thanks for the link. Puchase pending my offers approval . Seriously though, I appreciated the information. Even if it was just a sales pitch. Nice to be able to see that it made it to 2009.
LOL!!!!! That is GREAT!!!!! :thumb: You have the EXACT same sence of humor that I do LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!! Awesome bid my friend! :high5: There are 94 offers, Will we be able to see them at the end of the auction?
Probably wouldn't even see it. When you setup a 'Best Offer' auction on eBay you can set a minimum offer at which eBay will automatically reject the offer for you. You can also set it up with an amount at which eBay will automatically accept the offer.
Quite a history lesson if nothing else... 94 offers, all declined. I'm sure it's just an ad, like Hobo said.
The seller bought the note at an auction (I think it was at CPMX or Memphis in 2006) for somewhere between $20,000.00-30,000.00. The $1,000,000.00 listing is just an advertising gimmick. He will tell you that if you ask him.
Yeah what is that seller doing with such low prices?! Doesn't he know what he has?! I have to buy it...
