I don't mean to double post, but I thought I'd mention it in the appropriate forum. I found this Rhode Island P state quarter earlier in a roll of quarters. It looks like extra coin material wrapped around the coin itself before being reeded or something. The reeded edge itself is normal. I don't know what happened when this coin was processing. Is this a typical error of sorts? I apologize for the poor picture too. Dag gum camera phone sucks.
This is a "Cud" error. I have one just like it. It's in the right place and is the right shape. Can't make a 100% gaurantee because of picture quality, but I'm sure that is what this is. If ya have anymore questions I can go into more detail. This coin, if in uncirculated condition, is worth about $30 bucks, since it's not a very common error on a Rhode Island SQ Ryan
Do you have a scanner? It will not be the best picture but it will give you a better picture then you phone and we will be able to give you a better call on the coin. No pun intended, OK maybe it was.
