So I have made two orders from the mint. one says "This order had been shipped" which I have received. The other says, "This order has been processed" which I have not received. The fact that they have charged my account a couple weeks ago has got me worried.

I know this is just a forum, but I was told it was very unusual to charge an account and not ship it, is this happening to other people regarding the new pennies(which is what I ordered)?

I dont think you have anything to worry about. The mint is just all jacked up on Mountain Dew right now trying to catch up. Just sit tight and theyll come

thats not unusual at all, when I log in it says I have never ordered anything, but when I call they have the order info, my card was charged 3 weeks ago and my order is not backordered so they say. Of course 2 weeks ago the girl on the phone told me they were picking it in the warehouse to be shipped. Don't even bother calling unless you want to get more angry, they will lie to you, ignore your questions or may even just hang up on you.

Good luck with your order. The US Mint sometimes does act in a weird way; this year they simply canceled two orders I had placed. From their e-mail reply in January: "The following order has been cancelled either at your request or because we were unable to process it." And no, of course I had not requested the cancellation.

About a month ago, the same game. "Greetings from the United States Mint. The following order has been cancelled" etc. etc. as above, and again without any further explanation. Oh well, there's other sources ...
