While going thru a recent issue of Numismatic News I came across an ad from Empire Coins and web address. I looked them up to see what they might have and a pop up came up imforming me that they had gone out of the coin buisness in 2000! Does anyone know anything of this company and why they might still be advertizing? Seems a little hokey to me. They are now known as Empire Arms. Thanks for any imfo.
I have no idea, but every time I see Empire Coins I always think of the firm by that name that was owned by Q David Bowers back in the late 50's early 60's. He sold Empire Coins to Paramount International in 1965.
