The WE is not mushy, the "L" is not snug against the rim, and the second "2" needs to be sharper then the first.
It isn't lacking anything the "most"... It is lacking everything.

A number of things. Like has already been said, the second 2 in the date should be sharper than the first...on this coin it's the opposite. L in Liberty should be against the rim but on your coin there is a clear gap. These are both well known traits that exist on all die 2 coins. Without them, it can't be a die 2.

so it really doesnt fall into any die pair then? that s&*cks hard to believe with no D there that it isnt a no D. i cant see that the area has been worked down or altered, so not sure what to think

There are people out there who are masters at removing mint marks. Unfortunately, these people amazing talent. I'd be willing to bet that there is a 99%+ chance this is one of those.

However, there is a slim chance of a grease filled die causing this. Those are seen on many dates of Lincoln's so it would be an annoying coincidence that it would wipe out the mint mark on a 1922. But, even if it was from a grease filled die at the mint (which the chances of a removed MM is MUCH more likely)...it still wouldn't be considered a No D.

    just a side note:

The last 2 is at an angle to the first.

    Therefore, (no added value) fake.

But that is just my opinion, and I wear glasses, and have been wrong before.
