Let me share my new lot of world coins. I purchased them Saturday from the same old-time collection as my last lot. (I can’t wait to go back for more). Of course, I tried to pick some nice ones. Please let me know what you think of them. I will post individual photos & let me know if you want to see anything in particular. Very best regards, collect89
This Conder token photo is easy because I just posted it on Coin Chat. I'll post more on this thread when the photos are available. Very best regards, collect89
Do you think that the hole lowers the coin’s value? (Don’t answer that). The coin had a sticker price of $8 and I got it marked-down to $5. I still think that this 1830 Central America 1 Real is a great coin. Assuming it is genuine, I’d like to buy a roll of them at $5 each. Very best regards, collect89
I think all the ancients you pick up at 99% below what they are actually worth makes up for it. stainless
Hello Acanthite, The die work on the reverse is interesting. In your opinion, is this a “good coin” with a decent interest-factor or did I just buy a pretty coin. Very best regards, collect89
Very nice set of coins. :high5: I think I'd keep going back to the "old-time collection" until he runs you off
Thanks for the additional photos. Not sure I can answer your question in a strictly market sense, other than to say that it is not so uncommon but has a lot of design appeal, IMO. It is also fairly old (1852 AD). Krause lists it at $60 XF, $225 UNC (4th ed).
