I figured if they stopped printing it (which I am in favor of) I would have heard of it.
This article was updated to June 2019, but I guess no fact checking.

For all those who haven’t read this whole thread:
This planned Harriet Tubman design was put on hold to implement new security features that must, BY LAW, be included in a new bill. This hold was put in place by the PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION in 2016.
My point is that not everything has to be a political conspiracy, even though it’s often spun that way. I’d also like to add that anyone who is not familiar with the story of Harriet Tubman should educate themselves on the subject. She is an American hero, and I have no objections to her being honored, it’s deserved. Let’s all honor our American history, it’s an AMAZING story!
Edited to add: I once lived in a house in Leominster, Massachusetts that was used in the Underground Railroad. There was a hidden compartment in the floor, big enough to hide a person. It was really amazing.

Though i dont have any racial bias here, i would say the design is inappropriate
For paper money, as i think a coin would be better suited, putting presidents
And founding fathers on currency should be a continuation especially on the
$20 that we use everyday, just my opinion, dont throw me in the fire..LOL

@Mernskeeter I had pondered your avatar for a few moments when I saw it here last week. I knew the face was familiar, but I couldn't connect a name to it. Then I watched an episode of Columbo on Me-TV last night in which this very person had a cameo appearance and it came to me. Another star from years past had a main role in the story, but I could not recall her name. I thought to myself, "I hope I can remember the name of the episode so I can look for it online" but that did not happen; I even forgot what I had for breakfast this morning. :)

I'm so glad that my own days are short. 21st century America is not what I consider ideal. I spent most of my formative years in the Washington, DC area and regretted seeing the loss of the Washington football team's chosen name. For those who don't know, the team originated in Boston as the Braves. Strange to me that this name remains acceptable. Although I try to remain apolitical, I realize that I would be what would be one in that "basket of deplorables." At least, I am happy to say, I am not among that hamper full of despicables.

I think a metal of honor recipient would be a better choice. Read some of their stories when you get a chance .They make her look like Epstein also her real pitchers are hard on the eyes.
