Finally tonight here is the 1900 Morgan I bought at a local coin shop... notice that extra braid of hair, it looked like an earring to me at first, I dont think its a scratch or ding just appears to be sharp detail in the hair.
It is not extra detail in the hair. That is detail that was never there. It looks like reeding from another coin or some other type of hit to the coin. What's going on along the rims? It looks like that coin has been through the wringer.
When looking at the obverse, it has a ding on the rim on the lower left side. That is the only dent/ding on the rim, I dont think the pictures do the coin true justice. I got the dealer to sell the coin for $9 as he had $14 on the holder. Im sure its worth what I paid, I just wanted a turn on the century Morgan, dont really care about value.
