Lincoln Cents--WIDE AM vs. CLOSE AM? pics?

    I'm baffled at figuring out the difference, just using the notes in the Red Book.

    If it says "wide AM" does that mean the letters are wide and touching, or that the space beween them is wide?

    If it's "close AM" what does this mean?

    anyone got photos?
