The Fr# 236 Speelman/White in XF45 generally sells between $260.00 and $300. Prices go up from there. Whith that having a "Choice" XF45 it may be a little more.

While most grades of this note are readily available....look at the different signature combinations as one consideration.
I would join Heritage or some other Auction House to have access to the pricing archives as an instant reference!

While it is a lovely note, be sure it is what you want! Always buy the best you can afford, even if it means waiting a little while longer!

    Just my two cents....:D

quite nice for that note. A black eagle is always a welcome addition to a collection

That eagle is a very nice note! i love black eagle notes!!

i will agree and disagree with RickieBs comment if i may :)

while i agree that you shaould always buy the best you can afford, i dont agree with sitting on the sidelines trying to save up enough to buy that one special note. If you are on a limited budget like alot of collectors, saving and saving and daving is no fun at all. After all, the part of collecting thats the most fun is buying that item you want. So yes, buy the best you can afford, but dont put the hobby on thold for great lengths of time just to buy that single note.

After all, if you wait so long to buy that 1 note - do you have a collection - or just 1 note?

So basicaly, waiting to buy the best you can afford is different for every collector. Dont feel you have to wait to buy the top graded note of CHCU 66 or so... if the best you can afford is that CHEF 45, the so be it, its a great note too :) and so is the vg-8 or whatever the grade may be.

sorry for the off topic trip :D

It is a great note my friend :)
