Yous are taking me to serious !! I had a couple of bad experiences when I was MUCH younger and learned from the hard knock school , That you don't mix chemicals. what I ment by mixing chhemicals was synthetic hair and superglue NOT good !
I don't want to come down hard but since this is an open forum and people can post just about any opinion, as a healthcare professional with a good chemistry background I want to just say this as clearly and bluntly as possible. DO NOT use hazardous chemicals not approved for household use. That includes xylene. It is not something to joke about and have no obscure thoughts about the hazard that industrial chemicals present to people. They can explode, cause affixation (cause you to stop breathing effectively), cause severe chemical burns, give you cancer, cause anaphaltic allergic reactions, cause blindness from vapors or rubbing it accidentally in your eyes, brain damage and death. In fact, this is one of the primary reasons why I tell new members with questions about cleaning their coins, in uncertain terms, DON'T CLEAN YOUR COINS. You don't have safety equipment, the correct class of fire extinguishers, enough fire extinguishers, proper first aid kits, or training. Don't DO IT. Ruben
