Double struck madison in set

    the numis lords have blessed the new collection with a healthy “double struck” 2007-p $1 dollar james madison presidential coin found in the annual mint issue set, same as shown in numismatic news (april 8, 2008 vol.57, no.15)
    they say double struck, in collar…out of collar, double something? I will post pics asap (another topic)

    do they (ie: Ngc, etc) grade such a coin and will i have to remove from set? I hope not.

    Nice find.
    Yes NGC will grade and slab it as an error if it is double struck. (no pics yet) and if you want it graded and slabbed it will have to come out of the mint packaging and yes you will have to remove it from the cello

    I think that they will grade it in the set. Check before you break the coin out.
