    I'm not sure it is a bad mint-mark, but it looked a bit off to me and I'm leery of self slabbers such as that one. I much prefer to err on the side of caution.

    Thanks Mark for your opinion. I took your advise and stopped bidding on it. It is still rather cheap at $202 if its a real 1909S Indian Head but it will probably go higher in the last couple of hours. I will wait for another day to fill this final spot in my collection.
