That one is a 1 Franc coin from French occupied Morocco. It is made of aluminum bronze and dated 1945 with a mintage of 12 million.
I'd be glad to try and help with the others. You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.

Hi shanegalang, and welcome to the forum.

One of the most expert attributor I know has offered to help you, so take advantage of it. :)

That's also excellent advice about the Standard Catalog, which has a great deal of information at the front which is useful in attributing and valuing world coins - including U.S. issues.

Thanks for the quick reply.......I've actually been interested somewhat in coins ect. all my life, I'm 38yrs.So when I found this bag of coins in an attic with a bunch of old games, my hands were shaking. Why no date on the coin I asked about? There are many and I want to research any values that can be put on each but fear not being told the truth(in the public circuit). There are lots of fine to mint uncirculated Kennedy .5s from 64 to 69.I've learned a bit about the silver contents of these.Pounds of weat back pennies, numerous nickles from 30s to 60s.Lots of Romanian coins.and coins from all over the world in different shape and dates.Heres a second one.1855 empire francais cinq centimes rear and napolean 111 empereur in really good shape.any thoughts? thank you Shane p.s I plan to sell them all.

Collector value depends on demand as well as date, number minted, mint mark (if any), and condition (grade) of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning.
The second coin is a bronze French 5 centimes featuring Napoleon III (1852-70). A mintmark letter under the eagle will more determine its value.

I would be interested in looking at a list of what you have to offer when you decide to sell.

The mint mark under the eagle is "A". I'll do my best to describe the coins shape ect. The condition is not bad.It still has a shine that looks not unlike a penny.A slight tornish(brownish) but not bad.I have not atempted any cleaning of the coin as my research suggest not to.I considered baking soda and water but declined as it appears to me that its best to leave it in the shape its in.There are very light scratches on the coin that I could see best with a magnifying glass......but it appears to be in as good a shape as a typical modern penny with slight scratches.I can see the small details of each part i.e the lines in the hair which indicates little wear. There are small "shapes" if you will to the left and right of the date and they stand out from the coin in detail.Looks like an arrow to the left and a pointing finger perhaps to the right.I can see all the feathers on the Eagle"rear" of coin.Even the eagles claws stand out.Any idea what it might bring?I am looking for an honest person such as you appear to be and would like to work slowly identifying each coin and what each coin may be worth.I will attempt another digital camera shot to try to get you a better visual of this particular one. Thanks for any help.God bless....Shane Marcotte Baton Rouge Louisiana

Shane, 'EMPIRE CHERIFIEN' literally means the 'Sharifian Empire',
as the ancient Moroccan rulers were known as 'Sharifs',which is where the word 'sheriff' comes from.
